Emergency call out and reactive team

Sustainable energy solutions

Sustainable energy solutions are becoming increasingly popular given the current escalating climate emergency and, with a growing focus on corporate responsibility, businesses are expected to play their part in reducing fossil fuel consumption. 

We aim to provide clients with advice and installation of sustainable electrical solutions wherever possible. This could be providing solar panels instead of battery powered systems or upgrading current light fittings to LEDs, which provide a longer life span and lower energy usage.

In 2021, PMC provided energy management services to Aintree University hospital in Liverpool with its partner CJB Energy. PMC provided a major light refit to the hospital, helping them reduce energy usage by up to 934,935kWh, equating to savings of approximately £125,000 each year. 

We also installed 124,325kw solar panels on the roof of the campus sports centre, allowing the facility to generate free renewable energy for years to come.

Both of these projects were done with minimal business disruption for the busy organisations.
